Andrew Gross of the Journal News has the most interesting stuff today. He reports that both Tom Poti and Jamie Lundmark (both of whom have been the subject of recent trade rumors), might be scratched for tonight's game, while Petr Prucha and Maxim Kondratiev might see their first action.

Tonight the Hartford Wolf Pack begin their season at home against the Manchester Monarchs. The Hartford Courant has a preview of the new look Pack. The team will also honor former captain and current coach Ken Gernander tonight in pre-game ceremonies retiring his number 12. Game time is 7:00 pm EST.
