So Tom Renney took some of this down time to sit with the players and give them one-on-one feedback. When asked about his session with Tom Poti, Renney replied "mission accomplished". He also said Tom was receptive and that they would move forward.
The newly acquired 24-year-old forward Jeff Taffe will most likely make his Rangers debut on Thursday against the Islanders. Marcel Hossa suffered a sternum injury that made him day-to-day.
Dale Purinton is looking for forgiveness from his teammates and Rangers brass.
The Rodent has a few odds and ends today.
