Like a Tomahawk missile fired with state of the art precision, the NY Rangers ended their losing streak. It was truly a thing of sheer electric, almost scary power and yet it's beauty lingers in the mind.

Holy crap.....did you see that friggin shot from Tom Poti? Where the hell did that come from and where can I get a case of that shit? Damn, I'd pay to see that more often (oh, wait....I am paying).The Rangers had the edge early on but give the Cup Champs credit, they came back strong in the third. Then, as if Tom Poti scoring wasn't enough to make you rub your eyes in wonderment in that pigs flying kind of way, the crowd at MSG just might be the reason the Rangers won.

That's right. In the past I've given the MSG faithful a shot or two for bad behavior. I must now give them high praise. They began a rally cry of "Let's Go Rangers!" because they wanted to get the team going. It wasn't the result of a good shift or save, they just did it. I noticed and I'd bet the players noticed. I think it made a difference. My hats off to the fans at MSG tonight!

I am buying a Petr Prucha Jersey when I get the cash.....this kid is just a joy to watch. Oh, I'll also be grabbing a Lundqvist jersey....and any CDs he puts out. Several of his saves tonight reminded me how not even close to anything looking similar to that my goaltending was.

No beer tonight, I'm sick. Nyquil me.
