This year of surprises continues. Kevin Weekes plays his best game as a Ranger just when it's needed. The Rangers are in the playoffs. This could be one of those "where were you the night....." kinda deals. OK...I'm streching a bit.
The Rangers defeated the Flyers in a shoot out 3-2. I'd connect you to the box score but at nhl.com it's busted for now. If you didn't see or hear the game, trust me, Kevin Weekes was great and the Rangers ARE in the playoffs. You don't kid about stuff like that.
Wait.....NYR.com has something posted....yup, I wasn't dreaming or drunk, it's true.
Credit where credit is due, the tired Flyers played a solid game and Esche was excellent. They were able to keep Jagr off the board, goal wise....much to the dismay of the MSG crowd.
I've now heard from a few who were there or in a bar in the area and and the streets understand what's happened here. At the game or at the bars, in houses all over New York....and everywhere else it's now official. Playoffs baby!
Multiple Beer Me's are in order.
