Before I go any further, I'm just as pissed off as you are. But in order to keep moving forward I'm about to spin this positive like a Washington pro.
Renny was brilliant in starting Weekes.
Look, Jagr was a no go as was Kaspar. He had to think his chances of winning were slim at best. Any magic that would have taken place would have done so whomever was in net. Barring a miracle, Weekes was the correct choice.
Wednesday night at MSG, Henke takes the ice in the first playoff game at the world's most famous arena and both Jagr and Kaspar are in the line up. The adrenaline takes over. The MSG faithful propels the BlueShirts to a home ice win.
Hey, it's all I got right now.
Once again I send credit the Devils way. They played well and deserved to win. Even marty made some key saves.
