Really, what can I say? Watching this series so far it seems clear that the Devs are the better team. They are deeper, more disciplined and get better goaltending. Add in the timely goals and you have a winning team.
While I never give up, it does look like Saturday could be the last game of the '06 campaign for our BlueShirts. Maybe the few days rest will help. It's not like they can't win....it's more like they just don't.
FYI: On 104.3 Q104 in NY, Shelli who's on the Jim Kerr morning show is a Devils fan. One of our readers started up a conversation and the next thing ya know, Hockeybird is mentioned on the show. In the morning if you tune in, I'll be on with her....taking my lumps on the chin. It's kinda tough to talk trash down 0-3 in a playoff series.....don't cha think?
UPDATE Thursday Morning: It doesn't look like I'll be on with Shelli today. Too bad, I'd love to chat with one of the 362 Devils fans.
3-0 is the final. To make matters worse, the damned Flyers win.
