For today's medical report, we have the news that Peter Forsberg might be out until January of 2007 due to surgery to repair ligaments in his ankles. His teammates Derrian Hatcher and Turner Stevenson had successful surgeries on their right knees. Toronto Maple Leaf Jeff O'Neill underwent shoulder surgery as well.
The Hartford Wolf Pack are still alive, despite their mini-hiatus due to the circus being in town. They resume their 2nd round playoff series against Portland tonight. The series is tied 2-2.
The Rangers signed Ryan Callaghan, their fourth round pick from the 2004 draft, to a professional contract.
