I find it a bit hard to think about or discuss hockey as the middle east erupts in war. While I have solid opinions on who's done what and which side is more correct than the others (there's a hint) I can't help but think there needs to be a way to end the bloodshed, stop the killing and finally achieve peace.
I suggest a hockey game, winner takes all. Let's just settle this now so we can get back to important things like hockey and cheap gas.
The Rodent uses Myron Cohen (not related to Lindsey Lohan) as part of his Sunday rant. It's a four parter but don't get me wrong(ly), it's worth the visit as usual.
Uncle Larry's column is filled with stuff......like how Leetch and the NYR have not spoken at all. We have heard that a physical was scheduled. Who knows? Larry also writes on how Eric Lindros will not play in Toronto but may hitch his saddle in Dallas. Get it? Dallas....cowboys, saddle. Never mind.
Speaking of Texas, our own messageboard member Glen from the great state of Texas is featured on the NYR website. How cool is that? He does get a two minute penalty for failing to work Hockeybird into the shot or text though.
Lyle of Spectors has his Fox report.....filled with stuff to chew on. Since it's on Fox, is it fair and balanced? Hmmmmm. We're big fans of Lyle around here even though he called us a blog.

This is not a political website although we discuss all kinds of things on the boards. I did want to send out my thoughts and prayers to all the US men and women who are serving overseas as well as those here at home. Things have really heated up and their jobs have become even more difficult. Let's hope for the best, eh?
