Hard working center Dominic Moore has been traded in a three-team deal. The Rangers acquired forward Adam Hall from the Predators, and Moore was then flipped to the Penguins for a 2007 third round pick.
I'm sad to see Dom go, but this opens some space up at the center position, perhaps for Jarkko Immonen. It does create a little crowd for wingers on the bottom two lines, with Orr, Hollweg, Ortmeyer, Ward, and Hall already signed, and Marcel Hossa still waiting in the wings.
I wonder what spots are left to be "won" by some of the prospects??
In other news, Jim Dolan has fired Glen Sather. Kevin Weekes is the new GM, and Dale Purinton is the new special advisor to the owner. Adiditionally, Sam Rosen was appointed head of Garden security, and Michael J. Fox will be the new equipment manager.
I'm kidding of course, but is any more ridiculous than what's happening in Uniondale?
