OK, the lame Devo reference was obligatory. Larry Brooks suggests that the Rangers are looking to bolster their PK by adding Radek Dvorak to the roster.
"...Renney, who has been heavily involved in the recruiting effort, perceives the blistering-quick winger as a perfect fit for third-line and PK duty, where he wouldn't be under pressure to score. A streak scorer who registered 31 goals as a Ranger in 2000-01, Dvorak does have the ability to move up should the opportunity present itself."
Dvo is hardly a terrible choice here. I watched as his Oilers nearly won a Cup last year and he did put out effort. Unfortunately, he couldn't buy a goal. One of the most unlucky players I've seen in a while when it comes to scoring. Like his buddy Hlavac, Dvo is relatively soft and doesn't score often enough. He is however a fast skater and IMO could just work out in a 3-4th line PK role.

From Friday....the Pens will be doing the Ranger thing....going to West Point.
