NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 19: Teammates congratulate Jaromir Jagr #68 (L) of the New York Rangers on scoring his 600th career goal in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 19, 2006 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

Only 16 players have scored 600 or more goals in the NHL. Two have joined the club this season and both as NY Rangers. Congrats Jaromir.

Can someone tell the TV guy who fills in for Sam NEVER to say the "S" word during the game. The schmuck said it 4 times and only the instant replay saved him the first time. Why he tempted fate 3 more times is beyond me. Everyone knows you don't say shutout before it happens or you jinx it. Moron.

So the Blueshirts offer a solid effort all the way around with great goaltending at times and a three point a piece night for the first line. Say, the Shanahan kid ain't so bad eh?

Here's the box. The recap.

After reading Pete Rocha's entry from Saturday I'm tempted to try the grape. Naw....BEER ME.
