All things considered
Tuesday - December 19, 2006

A 4-3 loss ain't so bad considering they had about forty people out of the lineup tonight with the flu or other ailments. But it's still a loss. And another one to a divisional rival, and another one on home ice. Eh. Hard to be angry at them, but once the Devils and Islanders start making up those many games in hand, the Rangers are going to fall out of playoff position quickly.

Oh, and the same thing that hurt this team last season is hurting them again this season - no scoring depth whatsoever on lines 3 and 4. The big guys, as usual, brought their game tonight (3 points and 6 shots each for Jagr and Shanahan), and the little guys brought, well, little. Why not give Isbister a shot?
