I avoided this topic in my pregame post as to me it's a non-issue. Matt was a good solider while here in NY and while I didn't see a need to get rid of him I understood that he wanted to play elsewhere. That's a player's prerogative and Slats gave him his wish.

Besides, the boards around had plenty of fodder on this topic. I get the feeling that his goal tonight (2-0 'canes so far) will prompt plenty more discussion on this topic.
