You really wanna know why the Rangers lost tonight in Pittsburgh? OK, I'll tell ya. The players for the Pens played better than the Ranger players. Period.
Say what you want about injuries......Avery and Shanny were both out. But the guys who did play didn't play well enough to get a win plain and simple. Now that's not to take away from the job done by the Pens.....they played well enough for a win and good for them.
It wasn't the Refs....it wasn't the coaching.....it's the players. I have seen these guys when they play their best....they are talented and have great ability. I don't know the reason and I won't make one up.....these guys don't bring it every night.
And don't get me started on Henke. King?.....my ass. How about not going down on any shot so fast it looks like you need the $10 more than I do. JFC......you can't go down on shots that are above your head! Now ya know why the Rangers had some interest in Cujo before he signed with Keenan's Flames. I am of course assuming that the coaching staff has already addressed this and Henke is just not listening.
The Pittsburgh Penguins earned the win tonight.
The Rangers are earning their way to an early vacation.
Screw the beer.
