The Rodent and I spent the last part of our podcast remembering Brian.
Both the Rodent and I suggested that no suspension was warranted for the hit on Rosy.....but Kovalchuk got one game in the stands. I'm a bit disappointed as it removes the chance for payback. I still expect some fireworks though.
Those of you with the Center Ice package will get the entire ceremony starting at 6:30pm. Those of you attending....I am jealous.
I'm off to see Rudy down here in FL but I will be back in time for the game. I once sat at Rudy's desk at Building 7 at the World Trade Center. It was at OEM (The office of emergency management) and of course, that building came down on 9-11. Now I'm not endorsing Rudy or anybody here.....but I like the guy and can't pass up the chance to say hi and chat a bit about old times. He really is a decent dude when you talk to him.
