I'm still recovering from the long drive back and forth from Tampa Bay. I of course return to a Monday from hell at work.....but that's part of life, eh?

I do owe you guys some pics and I will get them out ASAP. Fans of Avery and Shanny will be treated to some great close ups as I was on the bench for warm ups. And what's the deal with JJ's chin stache? He looks like Billy Ray Cyrus from Hannah Montana.

The Pens come to town featuring two of the leagues top draws, Crosby and Malkin. Add in Hossa and I agree with most pundits that these guys are as good as anyone in the east. You must also remember that this squad features Gill who just loves to rough up Jagr. With Dubi and Avery riding shot gun I wonder what the outcome will be. I did watch the Pens dismantle the Flyers over the weekend.....and they responded to the rough stuff dished out by the Bad boys from Philly. This is no longer your father's Penguins. Perhaps a bit early to call....but these guys might be the guys to beat in the east.

I'm hoping for a line up change.....one that brings in more energy and hitting. Have you noticed that the HBO line sans Hollweg hits very little these days. That line can't afford to to drop it's best quality as it adds little if any offense. In fact, this team can't afford to show up without bringing all it's chips to the table. To steal a Texas Hold "Em phrase, they need to be "all in" every game from here on out.

When the Rangers are at their best, the passion and hitting are clearly part of the equation. Let's hope for some good math tonight.
