It's that time of the season when it's no longer how you play the game.....it's all about winning. By any means necessary. At the close of the first period I suggested to a buddy that we were lucky to escape with the 2-0 score. The Pens were flying at that point.
Truth be told, I haven't yet studied this game as I had house guests.....so I'll need to see tape but this was a big game and after letting the Pens back in it, the Rangers made amends fending off the Ice Chickens 5-2.
It should be pointed out that this is not the line up that the Pens will field for the playoffs. But it was still nice to right the ship against these guys.
I posted some pics of my trip to Tampa Bay.......my commentary will be added later.
